Caring for Your Glassware

Every piece is hand-blown from recycled glass, which means each one is just a little different from the next — that's not a flaw, that's the process. A few notes to keep them beautiful for years to come:

• Hand wash recommended. Warm water and a mild soap keep the glass and any painted or colored details looking their best.
• Avoid extreme temperature swings (don't go straight from the freezer to hot water, or vice versa).
• Dry with a soft cloth to avoid water spots.

The Impact of Recycled Glass

Every glass we make starts as recycled material instead of new raw sand, soda ash, and limestone — which means less energy burned to melt it down. Based on published life-cycle studies on recycled vs. virgin glass production, that adds up to a real offset:

One glass: approximately 0.18 kg of CO2 saved compared to new glass production.

Buying more than one? Just multiply — two glasses is roughly 0.36 kg, four is roughly 0.73 kg, and so on.
